Step into an impactful role supporting students' learning journeys in the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area! Multiple paraprofessional positions are available for the full 2025-2026 academic year, serving one school site with a team that values professionalism, dedication, and collaboration. This contract position spans from August 11, 2025, to May 29, 2026, with consistent 30-hour workweeks (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM, including a paid 10-minute break and an unpaid 30-minute lunch).

Ideal candidates are located in Hillsborough, Colma, Daly City, San Bruno, San Mateo, or nearby areas, and are ready to provide essential academic, behavioral, and social support to students.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an AA degree
  • Valid driver’s license, personal transportation, and ability to commute independently
  • Residence in the San Mateo or San Francisco Bay Area (excluding East Bay or South Bay)
  • At least 2 years of recent school-based experience preferred
  • Strong data collection and reporting abilities
  • Behavioral background experience and Safety Care training preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Support students at a designated school site under the guidance of a Behavior Supervisor or Special Education teacher
  • Accurately collect student performance and behavior data
  • Foster a positive, flexible, and professional environment with students, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability
  • Assist with school readiness, early academics, and encourage social interaction during group activities and recess
