Instructional Aide in Millers Creek, NC

Support students’ growth and assist educational professionals as a dedicated paraprofessional in a welcoming school environment located near Millers Creek, NC. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact by helping facilitate virtual speech-language services and working collaboratively with caring educators and support staff.

This role will focus on supporting a virtual SLP currently on maternity leave. It provides the opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional learning experiences and helping students reach their goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or completion of at least 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
• Experience working in a school or educational setting is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Positive, adaptable attitude and a commitment to supporting students’ diverse needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and families
• Flexibility to support virtual service delivery and adapt to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the virtual SLP to implement personalized student support
• Assist with setting up and monitoring online sessions
• Engage with students, encourage participation, and document student progress
• Provide classroom or one-on-one assistance as directed by the supervising SLP or educators
• Help develop and maintain materials for therapy sessions
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
