Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of at least two years of college credits from an accredited institution, or
- Possession of an associate degree or higher, or
- Passing score on an approved academic assessment (such as ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher), or
- Fulfillment of competencies on the MDE-approved grid
- Valid PCA certificate, or willingness to acquire one (free online; under one hour)
- Documentation of qualifications must accompany your application
- Availability to attend a mandatory orientation session, held Wednesdays at 1:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily classroom and one-on-one student support under the guidance of licensed educators
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
- Assist with individualized education plan (IEP) implementation and classroom activities
- Support students with varying abilities, ensuring their educational and personal growth
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to prioritize student success
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
