This contract opportunity is located near Minneapolis, MN and offers consistent, per diem assignments throughout the academic year. Work within a dynamic on-site school environment, providing essential support to students and classroom teachers while building valuable professional experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of at least two years of college credits from an accredited institution, or an associate degree or higher
  • Alternatively, a passing score on an approved academic assessment (such as ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher), or meeting competencies on the MDE-approved grid
  • PCA certificate, or the willingness to obtain one (provided free, less than one hour to complete)
  • Minimum of one year’s experience working with school-aged children in a professional setting; two or more years in a school-based paraprofessional role preferred
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and adaptability in a classroom environment
  • Must be available for on-site assignments (remote work not available)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and student support to ensure a positive and productive learning experience
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
  • Support students with special needs, following established education plans and instructions
  • Collaborate effectively with staff to foster a supportive school community
  • Demonstrate flexibility by covering contractor call-outs as substitute needs arise
