Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or teacher’s aide, preferably in an educational or special education setting
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a commitment to student well-being
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
• Comfortable with travel and flexible to adapt to varying daily routines
• Must meet background check requirements and any applicable state or district clearances

What You’ll Do:

• Support a student during daily transportation between their home in Monessen and school in Greensburg
• Assist with the morning pickup at 7:30 AM, accompany the student to and from school, following all safety procedures
• Build rapport and create a positive, encouraging atmosphere on each ride
• Ensure the student’s needs are met, monitoring for safety, and intervening appropriately when needed
• Document daily activities and report observations to appropriate school staff
• Commit to at least four hours per day, split between morning and afternoon travel schedules
