- Previous experience working in a school setting as a paraprofessional
- Demonstrated background supporting students with behavioral challenges and aggression
- Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care as needed
- Strong commitment to reliability and consistency in daily attendance

- Enthusiasm for collaborative work alongside special education professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, one-on-one support to an elementary student with significant behavioral needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, behavior specialists, and therapists to reinforce intervention strategies and individual plans
- Monitor student safety and facilitate engagement in daily activities, classroom routines, and transitions
- Offer assistance with toileting and other personal care in a respectful, professional manner
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and daily observations as required
- Utilize proactive strategies to support regulation, positive behavior, and social participation
Position Details:
- Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Contract duration: ASAP start through the end of the school year
