Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related student support role within a school setting
• Understanding of educational best practices and strategies for supporting learners with diverse needs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in education or child development a plus

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Offer instructional support to teachers by assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and academic activities
• Provide direct support to students, including reinforcing lessons, offering encouragement, and guiding participation in classwork
• Support individualized education or behavioral plans as directed by certified staff
• Help maintain an organized classroom environment and monitor student well-being
• Foster a safe and respectful space where every student can thrive
