Embark on an impactful opportunity supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional bus monitor for a contract role in the Nashua, NH area. In this important position, you will accompany and assist a student who attends school in Portsmouth, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during their daily transport. This is a part-time role, working approximately 20 hours per week, and is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students thrive in and out of the classroom.

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support role is preferred

• Must be able to pass required background checks

Responsibilities:

• Meet the bus each morning between 7:30 – 8:00 am and accompany the student to school, returning around 10:00 am
• Return in the afternoon around 1:30 pm to meet the bus for student pickup, accompanying them home with a return time of approximately 4:00 pm
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and attentive presence at all times during transport
• Communicate effectively with school staff and transportation personnel
• Assist with any necessary needs or accommodations for the student during travel
