Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a paraprofessional or in a closely related educational support role
• Parapro Certification, or an Associate’s degree (or a minimum of 60 college credits) or higher
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, supervisors, and students
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care needs, as required
• Strong commitment to upholding individual education plans (IEPs) and positive behavior plans

Responsibilities Include:

• Working 1:1 with students or within classroom settings, supporting instruction and engagement alongside lead teachers
• Assisting in the supervision and safety of students with special needs as outlined by their Planning and Placement Team (PPT) and IEPs
• Providing nurturing, respectful support to students’ academic, emotional, and personal care requirements
• Collaborating with educational staff to contribute to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment
• Documenting student progress and communicating observations to classroom teachers and supervisors
