Teacher's Aide - Nazareth, Pennsylvania

These hands-on contract roles offer a unique opportunity to support students with autism and emotional/behavioral needs in highly structured classrooms near Nazareth, PA. Assignments are available in Carbon and Lehigh counties, with in-person interviews required.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, ABA, Human Services, or related field is preferred; associate’s degree considered with at least one year of directly relevant experience (three years preferred)
• Demonstrated experience supporting children or adolescents with autism, emotional/behavioral disabilities, ABA, or in behavioral health, mental health, or school-based special education settings
• Strong behavior management, de-escalation, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to maintain composure and a collaborative, reliable, and professional attitude in challenging situations
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication
• Must provide one completed role supervisor reference check

What You'll Do:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group instructional and behavioral support to students with high needs
• Follow individualized education and behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists
• Build trust-based, positive relationships while implementing evidence-based autism and trauma-informed strategies
• Respond with consistency to behaviors such as aggression, elopement, emotional dysregulation, and crisis situations
• Collect behavioral and academic data to support student progress
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, communication, and personal care as necessary
