Immediate needs are focused on Multiple Disabilities Support (MDS) classrooms, with placement options based on current priorities and your preferences whenever possible.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or in a school/special education setting
• Meet one of the following PA paraprofessional state requirements:
  • 48+ college credits (official transcript required)
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Passing a state/local assessment (CDA or Credential of Competency)
• Willingness to complete the required para certification within 60 days if not already credentialed
• Strong, punctual attendance and reliable transportation within a 30-35 minute commute
• Flexible and comfortable with MDS classroom behaviors and personal care tasks (e.g., lifting, toileting, feeding)
• Ability to provide two professional supervisor references from a paraprofessional role

Role Responsibilities:

• Support instruction and student participation in classroom and group settings
• Deliver assistance for both academic and behavioral needs, especially within MDS classrooms (functional/behavioral)
• Assist with personal care, daily routines, and hands-on activities as needed
• Contribute to a collaborative, positive learning atmosphere
• Adhere to school-day schedules (typically between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
