Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar role in schools preferred
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small group settings with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and students
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in a dynamic classroom environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a relevant certificate is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support to students as directed by classroom teachers and special education staff
• Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily activities
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodation strategies
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and success
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, and transitions throughout the school day
• Maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere in accordance with school policies
