Para Professional in New Castle, DE

Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting by supporting students and educators as a dedicated paraprofessional. This contract opportunity is available immediately and runs through September 2026. As part of the school’s support team, your talents will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment at a local high school.

In this on-site position, you’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday, providing essential assistance to both classroom teachers and students. You will work closely with students, adapting to their needs and supporting daily activities, all while following established curricula and guidelines.

What You Need:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit (in hand at time of interview; applications pending or in process cannot be accepted)
• Willingness to obtain required background check and fingerprinting ($85 cost, candidate responsibility)
• Previous paraprofessional experience preferred
• Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting learners
• Note: If you hold an RBT certification, school-based supervision is not provided, and the position is classified and compensated as a paraprofessional
