Start an impactful role supporting students in an educational setting near Wilmington, Delaware. This contract position requires an immediate start and continues through September 21, 2026, providing consistent support as a paraprofessional at a local high school. You'll play a vital part in helping students succeed during a leave of absence, ensuring continuity and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Delaware Paraeducator Permit (required; candidates with pending/in-process permits cannot be considered)
• Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting is preferred
• Ability to provide documentation, including DE Paraeducator Permit and current resume, prior to consideration
• Willing to undergo required $85 CBC fingerprinting for compliance
• Understand that Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) titles and responsibilities will not be recognized for this position; certification maintenance is outside school hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct classroom support to students under the guidance of licensed teachers
• Assist with instructional activities and reinforce learning concepts for individuals or small groups
• Help foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe classroom environment
• Support students with special needs and contribute to a collaborative educational team
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school district policies at all times
