Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit is required and must be in hand prior to start date (pending permits are accepted if proof from the DEEDS portal is provided).
• Experience as a paraprofessional, especially in school settings or with young children, is highly valued.
• Must be able to obtain CBC fingerprinting at a cost to the candidate.
• Flexibility and adaptability within a classroom environment, collaborating with educators and supporting diverse student needs.
• Candidates with an RBT certification must arrange their own external BCBA supervision if they wish to maintain their certification. This role is strictly a paraprofessional position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom assistance and programmatic support to Kindergarten teachers and students throughout the school day.
• Help implement academic tasks, reinforce learning objectives, and foster student engagement in both group and individual settings.
• Maintain a supportive and well-organized learning space, ensuring student safety and comfort.
