Two full-time contract positions are open, supporting elementary-aged children in autistic support classrooms. These roles are based in the Pittsburgh area and ideal for those residing in or around Fox Chapel, Oakmont, Monroeville, Swissvale, and surrounding communities. The anticipated start is as soon as possible with assignments running through June 5, 2026.

Position Highlights:

• Seeking individuals interested in full-time, contract positions
• Hours and specific location determined by school schedule
• Two openings: one for K-1st grade and one for 3rd-5th grade autistic support classrooms

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional in school settings preferred
• Comfort assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting
• Ability to assist with classroom transitions, lunch supervision, and occasional support for other staff
• Compassionate, reliable, and flexible in adapting to classroom needs
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students according to individual needs and teacher guidance
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Supervise students during lunch and other non-classroom periods
• Step in for other classroom paraprofessionals as needed
