Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or working with children in an academic setting
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow guidance from teachers and implement classroom strategies
• Patience, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed
• Familiarity with individualized instruction and supporting students with diverse needs appreciated

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with certified teachers to deliver effective instructional support
• Assist students individually and in small groups to reinforce lessons or provide accommodations
• Monitor student progress, engagement, and behavior, reporting back to instructional staff
• Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom climate where all learners feel encouraged to participate
• Support classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during activities or transitions
• Adapt to changing needs with a positive, solution-oriented approach
