Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or working with children in an academic setting
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to follow guidance from teachers and implement classroom strategies
- Patience, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed
- Familiarity with individualized instruction and supporting students with diverse needs appreciated
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with certified teachers to deliver effective instructional support
- Assist students individually and in small groups to reinforce lessons or provide accommodations
- Monitor student progress, engagement, and behavior, reporting back to instructional staff
- Foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom climate where all learners feel encouraged to participate
- Support classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during activities or transitions
- Adapt to changing needs with a positive, solution-oriented approach
