Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with special education, resource support, and inclusion classrooms
• Ability to engage with students in grades K-2 with patience and respect
• Comfortable delivering both group and one-on-one support
• Demonstrated reliability and strong communication skills
• Willingness to provide custodial care and assist with social, emotional, and physical needs
• Capable of following direction from teachers, RNs, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist students in grades K-2, offering academic and behavioral support in both resource and in-class settings
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to maintain an inclusive, supportive environment
• Support the special needs program, including 1:1 assistance for students requiring additional care
• Accompany and aid RN and other professionals to ensure student health and safety
• Supervise, motivate, and engage students throughout the school day
• Maintain student confidentiality and comply with all school policies
