Support students in their academic and personal growth in a rewarding contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. Several opportunities are open for paraprofessionals at the middle and high school levels in a welcoming educational environment. This full-time role spans September 2026 through June 2027, with schedules ranging from 32 to 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday.

Your focus will be on fostering an inclusive classroom and reinforcing learning, working hand-in-hand with teachers to deliver targeted support where it's needed most.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar role preferred, especially in a school setting
  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping young people
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant coursework or certifications is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support under the supervision of certified staff
  • Assist students with academic tasks individually or in small groups
  • Facilitate positive student behavior and encourage participation
  • Aid students with special needs or individualized education plans as required
  • Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and maintaining a safe, organized classroom environment
  • Support lunch, recess, or transition times as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies
