Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a school or classroom setting as a paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt to various classroom needs, including working with students with diverse learning abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or associate’s degree in education or related field is a plus
- Patience, organizational skills, and a positive, encouraging attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers during instruction and activities
- Assist students with classwork, organization, and comprehension, individually or in small groups
- Help implement lesson plans and classroom routines
- Provide classroom management and reinforce behavioral expectations
- Assist with modifying materials and activities to meet students’ individual needs
