Instructional Aide - Norristown, PA

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Paraprofessional to make a significant difference in a school setting near Norristown, PA for the 2025-2026 academic year. In this full-time role, you’ll provide dedicated 1:1 support to an elementary-aged student with moderate behavioral challenges and developmental delays. The position runs from August 25, 2025, through June 12, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a school environment
• Demonstrated background as a paraprofessional
• Ability to manage and support young learners with moderate behaviors and developmental needs
• Compassionate, patient approach and strong communication skills
• Adaptability and dedication to the student’s academic and personal growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver consistent, individualized support throughout each school day to one female elementary student
• Assist with both academic engagement and social-emotional development in classroom and school activities
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and school staff to implement learning plans and behavioral strategies
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the educational team and family as appropriate
