Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or in a student-support role, preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or completion of the ParaPro Assessment is a plus
• Understanding of child development and classroom management practices
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist students individually and in small groups during lessons and activities
• Support classroom teachers by preparing learning materials and maintaining an organized environment
• Supervise students during non-instructional times such as lunch, recess, or transitions between classes
• Implement teacher-designed interventions and provide feedback on student progress
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
• Assist with documentation and record-keeping as needed
