This contract pool position offers the flexibility to be deployed across various schools in the Quakertown, Levittown, and Perkasie areas—uniquely suited for passionate professionals who enjoy dynamic work environments and are ready to step in where they’re most needed. The assignment provides ongoing opportunities due to frequent openings, and every candidate begins with a thorough, mandatory orientation week to ensure readiness and confidence in their role.

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school special education classroom (PreK-12) with students with severe autism and behavioral challenges—clearly documented on your resume.
• Demonstrated skills handling aggressive/self-injurious behaviors, implementing safety interventions, and providing hands-on support including assistance with ADLs (feeding, toileting, transfers).
• Residency within 35 minutes of the school areas.
• Full availability Monday through Friday, able to flexibly cover shifts between 6:45 AM and 4:01 PM.
• Willingness to attend and complete a full orientation week (no exceptions).

State Requirement:

• Already meet or be willing to earn PA paraprofessional credentials within 60 days—options include 48+ college credits, an associate degree, or completion of a specialized competency certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students 1:1 or in group settings within a highly structured behavioral environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver individualized educational and safety plans.
• Remain active and engaged throughout each school day, adapting to evolving assignment locations and needs.
