• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, PCA, or in a similar educational support capacity
• Comfort assisting students with toileting and personal hygiene needs
• Ability to provide compassionate academic and health-related support to children with varying needs
• Observant, reliable, and able to document student activities and incidents, particularly for students with seizure disorders
• Approach challenges with patience and a positive attitude
• Team player who collaborates effectively with classroom staff and licensed school nurses
• Clearances and documentation required for school-based employment (such as background check, TB test, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers and school staff in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist students with toileting, changing garments, and personal care tasks as needed
• Carefully monitor and document the condition of students, observing for seizures or any medical incidents
• Work closely with the on-site school nurse, who handles medication administration and health care plans
• Provide both academic and health support, helping students participate fully in daily activities
• Follow all safety protocols, health guidelines, and school procedures
