Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or similar role in a school setting
• Strong commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture
• Ability to assist with classroom management, student engagement, and academic support
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and responsiveness to the evolving needs of elementary school learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group support to students under the direction of certified teachers
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and behavioral interventions to ensure a positive learning environment
• Support instructional activities, social skills development, and growth in daily living skills
• Foster an atmosphere of encouragement, patience, and respect for all students
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to carry out IEP or 504 Plan accommodations as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies at all times
