Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to changing classroom needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner with students and staff
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting diverse classroom populations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or relevant certification a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and implementing educational activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing learning concepts
- Support the individual needs of students, which may include assisting with classroom management, behavior plans, or personal care
- Prepare instructional materials and organize learning spaces as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
