Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working with children or young adults in educational, daycare, or related roles
• Familiarity with classroom management or special education preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications a plus
• Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instructional activities under the supervision of classroom teachers
• Assist students with learning activities, assignments, and individualized goals
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and productive classroom atmosphere
• Provide one-on-one or small group support, including for students with special needs
• Help monitor and encourage student engagement and participation
• Assist with classroom logistics, materials preparation, and reinforcement of behavioral expectations
