Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group support to students, promoting engagement and learning.
- Assist with classroom activities, assignments, and daily routines.
- Support students with special education needs and work toward their individualized learning goals.
- Help sustain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students.
- Follow directions and instructional plans set by teachers and staff.
- Supervise students and facilitate classroom routines throughout the school day.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with teachers, school personnel, students, and families.
- Encourage students’ independence, self-confidence, and social development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Washington State paraprofessional credential/license or an Associate’s Degree.
- Prior experience working with children or students with special needs is preferred.
- Consistent reliability and a strong commitment to student support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a school environment.
