Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role preferred
• Skills in classroom management and working with children in diverse learning environments
• Ability to collaborate closely with teachers and other staff
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Adaptable and positive attitude when meeting student needs
• High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree or specific paraprofessional certification may be required)
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instructional goals under the guidance of teachers, adapting materials as needed for individual learners
• Assist students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork and activities
• Provide behavioral and social-emotional support to foster a nurturing classroom environment
• Help with the supervision of students during transitions, lunch, recess, and bus arrivals/departures
• Track and report on student progress, contributing to IEP or 504 Plan implementation when necessary
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver an inclusive educational experience for all students
