Key Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to your assigned school
- Must currently reside in the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area (candidates should not live in the East Bay or South Bay)
- Preferred: At least 2 years of recent, relevant school-based support experience
- Experience in data collection, behavioral interventions, or Safety Care training is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students daily at a designated school site (Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 2:30pm, 30 hours per week)
- Monitor and document student progress as directed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Teacher
- Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when interacting with students, staff, and colleagues
- Maintain excellent attendance and consistent reliability
- Assist with school readiness skills, pre-academic activities, and fostering social development during group interactions and recess
