Key Qualifications:
- Must clearly indicate S10/S10A on application, and list any additional S-qualifications (S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22)
- One of the following: Associate’s Degree or higher, 48 college units and high school diploma, passing of CBEST and high school diploma, or passing of the instructional aide exam and high school diploma
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks including toileting, diapering, feeding, G-tube feeding, and more
- Strong team orientation and willingness to support where needed across all assignments
- Any relevant certificates or additional training, such as CPR, first aid, sign language fluency, or Braille, are highly valued
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in classroom instruction and individualized student support
- Implement accommodations for students with diverse needs, including physical health and behavioral support
- Document and assist with physical care procedures as trained (with specialized assignments requiring additional modules/training)
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for students
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff and administration to ensure comprehensive student support
- Adapt quickly to campus needs, understanding assignments may shift and flexibility is required
