Preferred qualifications and desired experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in similar school support roles
• Ability to follow instructions from educators and collaborate as an effective team member
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to support student growth
• Understanding of confidentiality and student privacy regulations
• Reliability and professionalism in a school setting

Key responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom management and daily lesson activities
• Provide individualized or small group support to students, adapting tasks as needed
• Act as a positive role model and encourage student engagement
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social development
• Help prepare instructional materials and maintain organized learning environments
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch periods, or recess as required
• Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor student progress and needs
