Step into a meaningful, hands-on role supporting students at vibrant elementary schools in the North Bay Area. Ten paraprofessional/instructional aide positions are available for the upcoming academic year, with assignments across friendly campuses serving Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade classrooms. This assignment spans from August 17th, 2026 to June 11th, 2027, with full-time schedules providing continuity and a chance to build long-lasting connections with students and colleagues.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or related role supporting school-aged children
- Comfortable assisting with basic personal care needs, including toileting and diapering, for younger students
- Willingness to work collaboratively in general education classrooms to promote inclusion and student success
- Flexibility to be assigned to any elementary site and adapt to either TK-K or 1st – 5th grade classrooms as needed
- Ability to reliably commute to school sites north of San Francisco (be mindful of local bridges and tolls)
- Completion of required para training prior to start date
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers during classroom activities and transitions
- Offer individualized attention and support for students, helping reinforce lesson objectives and social-emotional growth
- Aid students with personal care as needed for assigned age groups
- Help foster a welcoming, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in school events and collaborate with fellow team members
