Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or youth, preferably in educational or care settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability and patience in dynamic classroom environments
- Ability to assist with classroom management and support students with diverse learning needs
- High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certification in education a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students under teacher guidance, including academic assistance and encouragement
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and other learning strategies for students with special needs
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
- Assist with classroom organization, material preparation, and activities
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds, ensuring safety at all times
