Step into a meaningful role supporting students in an elementary school environment located just north of San Francisco. As a valued Instructional Aide or Paraprofessional, you’ll contribute directly to the daily experiences of children from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade across multiple vibrant school communities. This full-time contract position runs from August 17th, 2026 through June 11th, 2027, offering the opportunity to build valuable experience throughout the school year.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in a similar support role in elementary settings
- A positive, flexible attitude and strong communication skills with young children and educators
- Willingness and comfort assisting with toileting/diapering tasks for younger students
- Readiness to complete required paraprofessional training prior to starting
- Ability to commit to full-time hours, providing consistent support for classroom instruction
Position Highlights:
- Serve in general education classrooms, assisting students and teachers
- Work at one of several possible elementary sites in the area
- Support either early learners (Transitional K & Kindergarten) or students across 1st-5th grades, depending on assignment
- Assist with classroom management, learning activities, and student engagement
- Provide hands-on help with daily routines, including personal care for younger students
- Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in school life
Schedules generally fall between 7:45am-2:45pm or 8:00am-3:00pm to help cover before/after school needs, totaling approximately 32.5 hours per week.
