Teacher's Aide - Olathe, Kansas

We are seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals for multiple vacancies for the 2026-2027 school year. Assignments run from August to May and offer diverse roles assisting with Lifeskills, Autism support (SAILS), Behavioral (BSC), and High-Incidence environments.

Ideal candidates come with prior school-based experience and a readiness to make a daily impact. Candidates will interview prior to placement recommendations; during the interview, you’ll be able to share your preferences regarding grade level and caseload to find your best fit in the district. Specific location and classroom assignments will be communicated after an offer is extended.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Previous experience supporting students in classroom or special education settings, especially within school environments
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and students
• Adaptability to work in Lifeskills, Autism, Behavior support, or High-Incidence classrooms
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping diverse learners succeed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance and support to students based on specific classroom needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement lesson plans and individualized education plans
• Help students with daily living, academic tasks, and behavior regulation as assigned
• Support classroom management and foster a respectful, inclusive environment
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and protocols
