Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, especially in school settings
• Strong commitment to helping students with significant needs and challenging behaviors
• Ability to remain calm and focused in intense, fast-paced classroom situations
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to take direction and work closely with teachers and specialists

Core Responsibilities:

• Support students one-on-one and in small groups, adapting to individual needs
• Assist in implementing behavior management and instructional strategies recommended by the education team
• Contribute to classroom organization, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
• Document and communicate progress, observations, and concerns effectively
• Provide positive reinforcement, encouragement, and hands-on assistance to students as needed
