Para Professional in Orange, MA

Seeking dedicated individuals to support students as full-time Paraprofessionals for the upcoming school year. Opportunities are available for multiple Paraprofessionals/Instructional Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in an educational setting. This contract position is located near Orange, MA and is perfect for those with school-based experience and a desire to help students succeed.

Key Qualifications:

• Direct experience working in a school environment is required
• Previous work as a paraprofessional or instructional assistant is highly valued
• Comfort and skill in supporting students with behavioral or special needs is a plus
• Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and fellow paraprofessionals
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and ready for a full-time schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support alongside lead teachers to enhance student learning
• Offer individualized attention to students who need extra assistance
• Help implement behavior management plans under staff guidance
• Assist with daily classroom routines, activities, and organization
• Foster an encouraging and respectful learning atmosphere
• Supervise students during non-instructional times as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
