Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Experience working with school-age children in educational or childcare settings.
- Familiarity with special education, learning accommodations, or behavior management is a plus.
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; paraprofessional certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional, behavioral, and personal support to students individually or in small groups.
- Help implement lesson plans and classroom activities under the direction of certified teachers.
- Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment where every student’s unique needs are respected.
- Assist with classroom organization, supervision, and preparation of materials.
- Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development throughout the school day.
