Step into a vital support role within high school settings—make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by partnering closely with educators and learners. We are searching for highly qualified paraprofessionals to work collaboratively in a respected district, with vacancies at multiple high school sites. Let us know your preferred location from the following options: Blaine High School, Champlin Park High School, or Coon Rapids High School.

As a contract paraprofessional, you’ll work full-time, Monday through Friday (32.5 hours per week), with the assignment beginning around August 31, 2026, and running through November 29, 2026. Following this period, successful professionals may be considered for a direct hire position.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess one of the following: a passing score on the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam), or at least 60 completed college credits (submit official college transcripts).
  • Previous experience in a high school or similar educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable assisting with all aspects of student support, including toileting, as needed.
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated instructional and personal support to students under educator guidance.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with a range of needs and abilities to access their education.
  • Participate actively as part of a school-based team.
  • Adapt to the distinct culture of your chosen school location.
