Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a leading district as a contract paraprofessional for the upcoming school year. Multiple high school positions are available at various locations, each with unique teams and interview processes. When applying, be sure to specify the school site you are most interested in and verify your availability for an anticipated start date of August 31, 2026, through November 29, 2026. This is a 32.5-hour per week, Monday through Friday assignment, with the possibility of transitioning to a direct hire role after the initial contracting period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Meet the "Highly Qualified" status by either:
    • Passing the MN Board Paraprofessional Exam, or
    • Earning a minimum of 60 college credits (official transcripts required; diploma/degree images not accepted)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support high school students and collaborate with educational teams
  • Willingness to assist with toileting needs for students as part of support staff responsibilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail—resume and qualification documents must be included with your application
  • Ability to select and commit to your preferred school site location

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering instructional activities and supporting student engagement
  • Providing individual or small group support to facilitate student learning and inclusion
  • Supporting the implementation of accommodations, modifications, and positive behavioral strategies
  • Collaborating with staff and adhering to school site protocols and routines
  • Fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students
