Para Professional in Osseo, MN

Make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners in a vibrant early childhood center-based program, working with students aged 2½ to 3 years. This contract opportunity runs from early September to early December 2026, offering weekday shifts from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. As a key educator, you will help students thrive in developmental milestones, classroom routines, and social skills, all while gaining invaluable school-based experience in an encouraging environment.

What we’re seeking:

• Individuals who meet Minnesota’s Highly Qualified Paraprofessional standards by either:
  • Passing the MN Para Educator Exam (documentation required)
  • Completing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children or in school settings is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and a patient, positive approach
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to student growth

What you'll do:

• Assist certified teaching staff with daily classroom activities and individualized support
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere for students at critical developmental stages
• Encourage emerging social, emotional, and physical skills through hands-on activities
• Implement and reinforce classroom routines and behavior expectations
• Communicate with teachers and families as needed to support overall student progress
