Teacher's Aide - Osseo, Minnesota

If you're passionate about supporting students in a dynamic school environment, this contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional for a middle school resource classroom may be a perfect fit. Beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027, you’ll play an important role in assisting educators and helping students succeed throughout the school year.

Key qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of paraprofessional experience in a school setting
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus one of the following: • Completion of at least two years of college credits (approximately 60 semester credits) • Possession of an associate or higher degree • Passing score on an approved basic skills test (ParaPro Assessment with a score of 455 or higher, or ParaEducator assessments with at least 65% in Instructional Support and 70% in Knowledge and Application)

Responsibilities:

• Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM (35 hours per week)
• Support students’ academic and behavioral needs within a resource classroom
• Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to provide individualized attention for middle school students
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with daily classroom operations and student activities as directed
