This contract opportunity begins September 8, 2026, and continues through December 7, 2026, with regular hours from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday. Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly Qualified status, demonstrated by either:
  • Passing the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam), or
  • Earning a minimum of 60 college credits; official transcripts must be provided (note: diplomas or degrees cannot substitute for transcripts)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
• Ability to foster an inclusive, nurturing environment for diverse learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction for students in grades K-12
• Collaborate closely with certified teachers and related service providers within a Setting 4 program
• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
• Help students with both academic and social-emotional needs
• Ensure the classroom remains organized, welcoming, and safe
