Step into a rewarding opportunity to support young learners as a paraprofessional in a center-based program for children ages 2½ to 3. This contract role provides the chance to make a meaningful impact at the start of children's educational journeys, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Must meet "Highly Qualified" status prior to submission:
  – Option 1: Pass the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (MN Para Educator Exam)
  – Option 2: Possess at least 60 college credits (transcripts required; diplomas or degrees are not sufficient)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children (2–3 years) preferred
• Ability to foster a positive, supportive environment for early learners
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professionalism and reliability in handling confidential information
• Resume and Highly Qualified Documentation are mandatory for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to children ages 2½ to 3 in a center-based setting
• Assist lead teachers in implementing individualized education plans and classroom activities
• Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through constructive engagement
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom climate
• Adapt instructional support to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to maximize student growth
