Key Qualifications:

• Must meet at least one of the following to be considered "highly qualified":
  • Successful completion of the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • Minimum of 60 college credits with official college transcripts (photos of degrees are not accepted)
• Relevant experience as a paraprofessional in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to promote an inclusive, supportive environment for elementary-aged students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance and instructional support in elementary classrooms or specialized programs (specific assignments based on school needs)
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote student engagement and learning
• Support individualized educational plans and behavior management as directed
• Foster positive social interactions among students
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold district policies at all times

What to Expect:

• Contracted, full-time work: 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
