Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional or in a closely related educational setting
• Comfort working with diverse student populations and a range of abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to changing classroom needs and willingness to learn new approaches
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students individually and in groups
• Assist lead teachers in instructional activities and classroom management
• Support students with life skills, including personal care or mobility, as needed
• Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in student plans
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to promote student success
• Foster an encouraging and respectful classroom atmosphere
