Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a school paraprofessional in a dynamic educational setting. We are actively gathering a roster of “ready to start” professionals who are passionate, credentialed, and adaptable, prepared to jump into contract roles on short notice as new positions become available for the upcoming school year.
Desired background and credentials:
- Possess active, current credentials as a paraprofessional (must be verifiable).
- Available to start within 2-3 days’ notice when notified of an assignment.
- Demonstrate a minimum of two full years of experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional, Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or in a closely related capacity.
- Significant hands-on experience supporting students with special education needs over those two years (no exceptions).
- Comfortable working with any age group and a variety of student caseloads.
- Willingness to support students with personal care needs, including toileting and diapering, if required.
- Committed to punctuality and reliable attendance, including meticulous completion of sign in/out timesheets, which are required for payment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to students in special and general education environments.
- Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by instructional staff.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere, adapting to varying caseloads as needed.
- Deliver personal care assistance, including toileting/diapering, when applicable.
- Maintain accurate, timely records and comply with school protocols for check-in/check-out.
