Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or behavior specialist in school settings
• Previous background as a behavior technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) highly desirable
• Familiarity with PreK and elementary age children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in managing daily routines while fostering a positive learning environment
• Support students with behavioral or developmental needs, implementing evidence-based interventions
• Model and reinforce positive behaviors and social skills
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, adapting strategies to ensure each child’s success
• Track student progress and communicate observations to the instructional team
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practices
