Instructional Assistant - Painesville, Ohio

Support students in a nurturing educational environment as a dedicated paraprofessional and behavior specialist for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with PreK and elementary students, making a meaningful impact in their daily lives. Your previous experience as a behavior technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will serve you well as you adapt evidence-based strategies and support students who may require additional behavioral assistance. What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Specialist, RBT, or Behavior Technician preferred
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques
• Comfortable supporting PreK and elementary school students in both 1:1 and group settings
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Adaptable, patient, and proactive when addressing challenges
• Reliable for a full-time, full school year commitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with teachers to implement behavior intervention plans
• Guide students in social, emotional, and academic development
• Model positive behavior and reinforce appropriate conduct
• Collect and report data on student progress as directed
• Support classroom routines and assist with daily activities
