Instructional Aide in Painted Post, NY

Work directly with students in inclusive school settings where you can make a real difference every day. This contract role offers the opportunity to support children with diverse needs, including students with medical conditions and those requiring mobility assistance. With multiple positions available, you'll find meaningful work tailored to your strengths, whether you're experienced as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a Teacher’s Assistant (TA) seeking to further develop your skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, CNA, or TA in school or preschool settings
• Comfort working with students who have medical needs or utilize wheelchairs
• 1:1 support experience or a desire to assist in ASD and multi-disabled classrooms
• For assistant roles: Active NY Teacher’s Assistant Certificate required
• For aide roles: Previous experience with school-age children or in behavioral settings
• Compassion, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students individually or within small groups, assisting with mobility, daily tasks, and classroom participation
• Work under the direction of certified educators to implement educational and behavioral strategies
• Deliver hands-on care to students with complex medical needs, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for learners of all abilities

This full-time contract position offers consistent hours and a rewarding chance to help students thrive academically and personally. You'll be working exclusively onsite in vibrant, supportive school communities through June 2027.
