As a 1:1 paraprofessional, you’ll work closely with both teachers and a single student, providing dedicated academic and behavioral support within the classroom environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Experience working in schools as a paraprofessional or similar student-support position
• Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate with teachers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Patience, adaptability, and a caring mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or completed paraprofessional exams are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to an assigned student throughout the school day
• Assist with academic tasks, organization, and transitioning between activities
• Implement individualized education plan (IEP) accommodations and modifications as directed
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and independence
• Track and document student progress, maintaining regular communication with educators and support staff
• Assist with daily living, social, or behavioral needs when necessary
