Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a classroom support role strongly preferred
• Ability to assist teachers in instructional and non-instructional tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant coursework a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Capable of following directions and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Willingness to collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to teachers and students, assisting with lessons and activities
• Help implement behavior management strategies and educational accommodations
• Support students with special needs, ensuring their safety and participation
• Supervise students during classroom, recess, lunch, and/or transportation transitions
• Prepare materials and maintain classroom organization as directed
• Encourage, motivate, and guide students to reach their full potential
• Facilitate communication between students and teachers as needed
